Project Management Process
At Level2wo, we understand the importance of great design and stringent processes within different budgets. Our goal is to provide all of our clients with well-designed websites developed under tight tolerances and expeditious project timelines. We want to ensure the very best product and satisfaction from all our clients. Below is outlined our process from beginning to end of how we execute projects.
Step 1
In order to understand the site’s vision and goals, we conduct extensive research into the market space as well as interview you in the process of discovering your exact needs for the project. We find out “Who the audience is” in order to direct the site’s message. We find out what the site needs to accomplish, from informing, to selling, to creating an interest in a product or service or a combination of the above. We also investigate your existing website’s platform, server, and technologies in order to migrate over to the newly redesigned website.
Step 2
The design step entails presenting two to three design mockups based on the information gathered during the Discovery & Definition phase. You will choose the specific design mockup at which point you can request changes. We allow up to 2 revisions in order to solidify the design. In parallel to producing the design mockups, we document an Information Architect (IA) report which involves wire-framing your site, providing a usability report and ensuring the User Interface (UI) and navigation are up to spec.
Step 3
This is the actual production of putting the website together. Now that we have honed the proposed design to your specification with our guidance, our programmers get to work. We take the design mockup file and code each page to coincide with the design’s every detail. During the coding stage, we ensure the site’s underpinnings are SEO ready. We then upload the site to a test site and proceed to the next phase, quality assurance (QA).
Step 4
During this phase we check that every feature/function is working. We scrutinize every link, page title, image ALT tags, headings and meta-tags. Once the test site passes QA and we are satisfied that we have met our goals, we proceed to Deployment.
Step 5
This is the final step to making your website live. This is where we present to you the website in its entirety in order for you to test for yourself. Once we get the final sign-off from you, we launch the website.
